I have not driven either, but looking at the design of the serpent 1/8 scales, I don't like that they have you use two 2s lipos on either side of the chassis. So if you weren't using 2s batteries in series in your other cars, you will need to now if you get the serpent.

I I like saddle pack cars. A friend of mine has the serpent and it's a tank and looks to be pretty nimble. I drive a caster ex1.5r which is a saddle car and I like the low center of gravity they have compared to a big 4s pack. Sorry I don't have any info on the tekno I have the sct410 and it's amazing so I'm sure the buggy is to

A lot already have 2s packs either full size or Shorties.

I run the Tekno but to be honest I dont think you really could go wrong with either.

You can get serpent parts and the car at actionrc.com.au if it helps Wooley?

Just get Heavy's number of the site and ring him, he's well priced to but I'm sure you'll be able to get tekno in Oz aswell and don't you already have the tekno SCT? That would be less parts to carry!

I have the Serpent Buggy and had the Tekno SCT410 both top notch cant go wrong with either. Comes down to parts support, and you wont need much.
