Default Traxxas Rally 1/10 or HPI 5SC Flux?

Hello everyone, I know this may seem like an odd question but I'm thinking of expanding my RC garage and I'm torn between the Traxxas Rally 1/10 or the HPI Super 5SC Flux 1/5. I know their two diffrent cars but I have a E-Revo Brushless Edition and I want the HPI because I want something bigger but not if its basically the same driving experience. I've seen many vids of the traxxas rally 1/10 and it looks like it would be fun to drive. Idk what to do, I'm torn. What should I do?

1/5 is going to be totaly dif than 1/10 for driving, rally is limited to certain terrains as there is only so much clearance

But will the HPI be the same driving experience as the Revo?

He just said 1/5 would be totally different than 1/10. That would lead me to no, it will not be the same.

I would go with the rally personally.

I guess a better question would be ,would it be pointless for me to get the HPI if I already have the Revo? Driving experience wise or is it too similar and instead of dropping the grand on a car that's too similar to something I already have I should just get the Rally because I know the driving experience would be significantly different with that.

No the hpi 5t is more stadium truck, where the revo is a monster truck, they will both be trucks, BUT two totally different trucks at the same time. It is hard to based because of the scale difference though.

Take a 1/10 sct and drive it, and drive your revo, two 100% different driving vehicles, i like the sct over the monster truck as they are more forgiving when driving.

If you don't have a large area to run in, you may want to stay away from a 5th scale. They cover a lot of ground quickly, so smaller areas aren't all that fun.

You can say similar things about a rally car. You can't run them in really rough stuff, so you are limited as well.

Your call to make.

If you have a grand to drop on a car, look at a 1/8 racing buggy or truggy, they can be great bashers, (more so the truggy) ad it will be different than a erevo which is more like a mt.

Or if you want to head to the other end of the spektrum... Tamiya xv01 rally... Thats what im going to be getting next time i get an rc.

I have a converted 1/5 scale savage which is basically the 5SC Flux is.

I also have had a range of vehicles from 1/18 to 1/8, onroad and offroad.

Also have owned an erevo too in my day.

Based on what I recall on driving that versus my flux, The flux gave me a different feel in my opinion. HOWEVER, you need to keep in mind that if you are comparing something that is onroad essentially to this, it may be that really what you want is a vehicle that is more oriented towards that versus one that is more towards offroad.

The rally is a slash 4x4 underneath, so now it's a 1/10 to 1/5 comparison.

I personally would never get a 1/5 scale, they are just to big and impractical.
