I teally think for pure performance that the Kyosh mp9e is the top dog, also, in my opinio the xb9e and the durango dex408 should be in the top 5

All depends on driving style. The Tekno is a very aggresive buggy. It can get to be a handful quick. The MP9 is the opposite as its very docile and predictable.

depends on your priorities

steering
eb48.2, mbx7 eco,...

quality
xray, serpent, mugen, sworkz..

stability/ easy handling
xb9e, mp9e, 3.0e, mbx6 eco...

suspensions
kyosho, xray...

community
losi, associated, mugen...

originality
sworkz, hotbodies, jq, ...

smooth driver -> responsive car
agressive driver -> forgiving car

rough track -> easy car
clean track -> nimble car

now any buggy can be made different based on setup so I mainly focus on built quality and the community of driver around the car because you won't be able to change these parameters

I've driven the Losi & the Associated and I've got to say the Tekno is like a Cadillac compared to those two.

When comparing racing buggies to one another , im not so sure calling one a Cadillac is a good thing ....
