This is a public forum you need to get used to people posting their opinions. No one said you had to agree with it.

I agree our tracks are pretty clean but they are bigger tracks so you are a little spaced out

I'm still trying to learn the nuances of 4X4 SCT after having been away from this hobby for a few years. I bought a Tekno SCT410 and I am extremely happy with it and I can tell you it is competitive right out of the box.

Look at your join date. Now look at mine. Do you honestly think I haven't figured out your words of wisdom yet? Maybe if you said the tekno is the best FOR YOU or gave some background about why you think it's the best then your opinion would mean something to those of us that have been there done that.

Have you ever owned an scte or any other truck besides the tekno? Or are you just saying it's the best because you own it?

Everybody is going to be different as for what they prefer. The tlr and the tekno do seem to be the most popular between racers, and some bashers alike. They both seem to be just so durable!

I've never owed the losi I have owned 3 other sc trucks though and driven many scte's. I feel the tekno is the better of the 2 the main reason being wear characteristics the losi wears out much faster which for most is a huge draw back.

This is NOT a must. I use novak avtiv8 with novak 4.5t 550 with no power issues at all. Right now my temps on the motor are 130 and I'm just as fast down the straits as the pro4hd guys. I could gear up more or add timing if I need more power. I also feel that tue 2pole 550 motors are smoother then the 4pole motors and easier to control.
