Default 2wd Buddy newb

hi all, im not new to the world of RC cause i race 1/10 tourers but ive just got me a 1/10 Mardave Cobra 2wd buggy, i want to know if i buy some new associated springs will they fit? Are all of the spring lengths the same from each different company?

Heya.

Actually i remember the Cobra!! Back around 1994 there were a few guys in Australia running them.

Not sure if they ever updated them tho???

i know a coulpe of guys who used to race them (modified parts) and could easily beat other modern buggys there old but not slow so will associated springs fit?

For front : I can see them fitting if you use alot of the preload washers, try Losi fronts, they are longer. For rear : Most likely, again, try Losi's too, if both fit, you have twice the options.

Not to be a jerk, but if you can get that competative w/ todays technology, I wanna see it. What it that chassis made out of? Fiberglass? alum.?

yes i said that it was competitive but i didnt mean as of right now, a few years 2-3 that is ago it was but i very much doubt it to todays cars. I dont want a competitive car i only want it for blasting around in woods and at jump sites. the chassis is ally.

mardave is a uk mob i think.i have got a cobra in bits but it was pretty old.they might still make them.have mardave got a website?

yea i know the spares are easilly available from mardave, but the standard mardave shocks are shocking im just gonna get some new associated shock as i just broke the rear shock me split it
