Default Team Losi 1/8 scale buggy

The rumors are true that Team Losi is planning to build an 1/8 scale buggy. I can't wait to see what kind of innovation and technology can put into a nearly perfected platform.

Where did you see that? I figured Horizon would just keep going with the Mayhem which seems to sell pretty well.

It's in the new RC Car action magazine in the racing news section towards the back.

I almost wonder if it will have oversized shocks. They work really well on the LST.

I seen the ad also, I cant wait to see the car hopefully later this year, If it looks good I'll be one of the first in line to get one. I bet Associated wont be far behind, which is a good thing. Instead of the xxx and b4 battling it will be losi and associated 1/8's, now that will be good

Mountaindr3wz- There not even in production yet, so there probably isn't much about it. Give it about 3 months, after they get all the problems and things worked out. Remember, the pros have to help them add features and have to give the prototype a real beating to see what needs to be improved.

Is this certain or still just a rumor? I don't have my RCCA yet, so I can't read it for myself.

It's pretty certain I heard a rumor from a reliable source a while ago that they were working on one.

I dont' see an AE 1/8 scale buggy coming out as well. Not with the TT deal.

Now, if AE would do a 1/10 scale 4wd buggy, that would be a class that woudl really take off.

I dont want to sound pessimistic here but. Think JRXS. Losi has never made an 1/8 scale and I bet they will want to make something great so its gonna take a while. Don't expect this car for a year or more.

even with the BJ guys vehicle, I would say they may be more inclined than say a 1/8 scale buggy as the BJ guys don't own AE like TT does.

I would like to see a 1/10 and 1/8 from AE direct, but, both are very remote possiblities right now. Heck, have a better chance seeing some other 1/18 scale option for the RC18T than either of the buggies or even a new RC10GT!

Well, being AE is a bigger 'BRAND' it wouldn't be hard for TT to launch a NEW glafship under the AE brand.....

As for the Losi, interesting, seems they are breaking out everywhere with bespoke new chassis's/
