WOW my step dad had one of these, literally only drove it twice. He bought it when I got my first Grasshopper back in the 80's and he thought it was a better car. I just sold it for him on ebay about a year ago with the og box, charger, battery etc...think we only got $40 for it.

Hey guys I have a friend that has a kyosho pegasus, he's wanting to update the electronics in it, any idea what modern equipment would work and what size lipo/servo would work. Thanks

Any old servo.
HW1060 brushed ESC, any old brushed motor. Forget about brushless, way too much torque and speed for this oldie.
As for Lipo, get the rounded shotgun style pack, (any brand will do) if the original accepted a straight 6 cell NiMH back in the day.

A lot of rounded style Lipos are longer than 6 cell NiMH/NiCD batteries and don't always fit in older cars. I don't know if that's the case with the Pegasus, but this lipo will fit all cars that used a 6 cell stick pack
