Default Team Durango vehicles

Why do the Team Durango vehicles keep dropping in price?

You can get them RTR with nice electronics and some parts that would be upgrades on other vehicles.

Do they have problems and not very good?
Or is Team Durango just trying to keep the price point low for budget minded racers?

I'm looking to get back into racing and I was looking at the Team C products, but the Team Durango prices are very tempting.

Thanks for any input guys.

My guess would be very slow sales or they may be coming out with new platforms. I remember the V2 Truck was 429.99..now you can get it for 225.00.

Last race I went to, there was only 5 Durangos in a field of over 200 entries. They are nice cars but very little parts support and tuning wise there aren't too many people that can help you.

Parts support for me isn't an issue as my local track stocks them. We have quite a few people there running the Durango at the track. Or at least they did when I swung by a couple months ago.

I have the desc410 and the quality is on par with any of the other vehicles out there. Support and tuning with everything you can get online, I find is not an issue. Ryan Lutz is very helpful through email and you have all the guys on here that race them that can help you. I think the biggest thing is that over here it is super hard to compete with the popular brands such as Associated and Losi. I have always been a Losi guy but changed directions with this truck. If you were to go over to Europs I bet you would see a lot of the other brands are more popular .

All of the above. If you're in the market for a 4wd, the 410 is very good. 210 can be adjusted to do anything, if you have the patience.

At these prices, you cannot go wrong pulling the trigger on either of those kits. Cannot speak to any of the other D cars.

Agreed. I just purchased a brand new DEX410 (1/10 4wd) for $170 shipped from Tower!
Hard to beat and going to give it a try.

FWIW, my local tracks' distributor says there are new cars across the board in the pipeline, thus the price drops.

At what they're going for online these days, you can't go wrong just giving it a shot.

I love my desc410r and just bought a new desc210r. My friend just bought a 210r kit, 410r kit and a dex210 rtr. Once they clearout inventory those prices will change.

I'm looking at the 2wd truck and buggy. I still have my blitz I can race for the time being, but the Durango vehicles look pretty sweet to start running truck and buggy again.

The pro4 and 2wd are execellent. Very durable and fun to drive. The buggy needs a gearbox fix. Go to eBay and search Sumo Durango. That's it and drive. You can upgrade to the type b dimec20 chassis later.
