you might want to clarify that the dex210 one is for the +8mm plastic chassis that comes with the rtr, wouldn't want anyone getting cranky if they thought it would fit without mods on the stock kit alloy chassis

Rcjunky- good call...change is in order to the label :) thanks!

All PM's replied to!

Sorry I've been slow to post Zack.

The 2 pack (for those that were unsure, these come as a 2 pack!!) arrived safe and sound, packaged very well and shipped super quick. The thickness/quality is very good, the adhesive feels really good.

I forgot to rotate the first pic :(

I really don't get it.

Are these purely cosmetic, or do they help on a track? (i.e. land hard from a jump and because the car can slide easy it tracks straighter when it bottoms out?)

I got my slaps! just need to throw them on next week and put up pics, they feel real nice and thick! good product:nod:

In my case, it protects the chassis from further damage. Hence my pre-chassis slap picture showing the wear & tear my old alloy chassis takes.

Does it make the car "glide" better when bottoming out, maybe - probably - I am not good enough to ever know anyways.

It's a chassis protector, like any other it's purpose is to preserve the chassis.

When it comes to "chassis slap" itself, what happens to the chassis and the suspension are much bigger factors than the friction of the chassis itself on the ground/dirt.

Sorry I have been out for awhile guys, lots going on with the Worlds being this week!!!! For those of you that know me personally I do much more in the industry then just Enigma Chassis Slaps...so my time has been limited on this project for the time being.

As for Joey, thanks for uploading the pics and I will consider making the RC10 Chassis Slaps a bit longer to go up the rear end a bit more.

As for the purpose, much like other stated, it is suppose to do both, add style and actually protect your chassis from getting hammered on. People have said that on indoor clay(really high traction indoor clay) it helps make the car glide off jumps smoother, and land a bit smoother with less friction on hard impacts. Now this is something that I cannot PROVE, but if you think about it, it does make sense. However the reason for me starting this company was to protect the chassis. In many cases people can notice a huge difference on wear and tear on their vehicles! With most cars going to some sort of metal type chassis, I think chassis tape is going to be a very important accessory for people trying to resell their cars, and or just wanting to keep them nice looking. As for the Kyosho RB6, the first few batches of chassis were thin thus leading to some deformation in the back tranny case slot on the chassis itself, we applied chassis tape to 3 different RB6 cars with those chassis and it seems that it had a big part in keeping the thin metal from denting as much, along with keeping ALL scratches off the chassis and on the Chassis Slaps themselves. Another awesome factor is it keeps dirt out of the bottom of the screws for faster tear downs/rebuilds...AND you can use our product over and over again on some surfaces without it loosing its "sticky" stuff :) Hope this helps!

And thanks for all the support you guys!

I'll gladly beta test one for you on the "smoothness" factor...;) you know how to contact me:D

Sorry I have been away for awhile guys....work has been getting the best of me(I do have to still work on the other side of my graphics company lol) but things are starting to look up as products are now to be found outside of the US as well!

Hope all is well everyone!
