Default Is Hobby People legit?

I just noticed they had a radio I was interested in for about $80 cheaper than everybody else.

I searched for feedback on Hobby People here on the site and didn't find much of anything.

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, I couldn't really find an appropriate forum to ask this question. I really want to order this radio, but it seems a bit off that they are selling it for 60% less than everyone else. Thanks.

Yes, they have retail stores in southern CA. Way back in the day they were called Hobby Shack.

they are also the US distributor and service center for airtronics. I have dealt with their service department. They are hard to talk to and get a hold of, but they replaced my airtronics servos they went bad without issue.

Well, the radio I am looking at is an Airtronics, so maybe that explains the lower price.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. Going to get an MX-3X. I have an MX-3FHSS that I LOVE, but I cannot find any receivers for it. For $120, I might as well just get the updated version and just use the MX-3FHSS for VRC Pro.

$119 for an m3-3x is awsome. Its an fhss3 radio with a ton of features. That if probably the best radio in that price range.

Totally legit. Good store and web site. There stores have been around for a long time. Never had an issue with them.
