Pro-Line Pro-2 SCT kit

Just saw this on Big Squid RC. Makes one wonder if it will compete with the SC10.2 and TLR 22SCT. Looks intriguing.

Ty Tessman ran this truck at the Calgary Stampede a while back and TQ'ed and won the mains.

A few very fast drivers here in SoCal run these with great success.
They run Series races such as JBRL and Top Notch Series which are huge series here in Cali. Some people don't understand what they are talking about and some do.

A guy at my track runs one of these and he is very fast with it , But he ditched the powerstroke shocks for velvet's and says its the tits with them . I was never a fan of the powerstrokes the large shaft with the small body throws off the compression/rebound of the shock .

if you want a $600 truck so you can feel pride in beating other $300-350 kits, then have at it.
all they've done here is supply parts they've had available for months in one package.

um, what is pretty clear is that this is not a complete truck. a roller does not come in the box.

It's a complete semi race roller, some of it is assembled some of it isnt but there is NO SLASH NEEDED. It's complete and from what I can tell from big squids un-boxing there isn't a slash part carried over except maybe the turnbuckles but I'm probably wrong on that.

if they do, then my apologies.
but still, the $390 price tag exceeds the next highest competitor by about $70. and it'still a slash.

last I checked, and mind you i'm going off the words of a buddy of mine that has one, but proline does not make every part for a slash.

I like it ! Its a great deal for that price to start out with on a racing 2wd SC should be just as competive as the big name race kits and rollers. Heck i might get one for indoor racing or outdoor.
And thats not a Slash at all.
