All in all, as has been said many times throughout this thread, it doesn't make much sense to go from a stock 22 to a 22 2.0, the component part price is $$$. In my case, only because I had previously purchased almost all of the TLR 22 upgrades, It did make sense, but it still was over $200, but you could argue a new kit and a bag of spare parts might of still made more sense

Hey Frank. When I order new diff rings they are the same as the 1.0 rings. Is this going to be a running change and still getting rid of the old stock? What would be the best way to get new diff rings for the 2.0

lol, I spend less than $100 to update my kids 22 to 2.0. the 22 1.0 has no value anymore, maybe $125 after fees. But if you can get a used 22 2.0 for like $225, the buy than and sell yous.

Has anyone seen any setups for the EOS 2013? I'm looking at photos http://eos.redrc.net/image-gallery-2...rd2/?nggpage=2 and these things are SLAMMED! Looks like 10mm or less ride height! How are they achieving this? A ton of limiters in the shocks? Must be as if you look at a few closeups you'll see some of them even have the spring collars down a few turns. No way you'd do that with the springs and typical limiters! I run on very high bite carpet and I'd like to get the ride height down like this but I wanna do it right.

Any thoughts?

probably cut springs and a ton of limiters. i guess you could use front shocks on the rear, or at least the shafts. the fronts must be riding at the top of the shock body all the time!

if i had a lathe, i'd would be easy to take off 10-15 mm (or any length) from each shaft on the piston end. the factories have the tools necessary (calibrated spring rate tester) to cut down springs and get accurate, repeatable results.

That's why I'd like to see some setups posted to see if that's what they're doing...

It will be a running change, but if you get the diff service kit or complete diff kit from HH (TLR232000, TLR232001), they will have the new parts already for sure. If they are at a Hobby shop maybe, depends on how well they rotate stock and how many they sell etc.

shock internals are a must too though.

And I think they said the rear dogbone / axle setup was different. The 2.0 changes the pivot point adding rear grip. I never compared, but if that's the case, I would definitely do that change too.

Honestly though, I would buy a new car and use the old car for a back up or sell it to someone just trying to get into the hobby / class. I know everyone hates hearing that, but it's the truth. 2.0 > 1.99 (converted car LOL)

My left reat cva pin worked it's way out a little and kinda chewed up the left rear hub. Even when I put the kit together I couldnt believe there is no retainer clip to stop the pin from coming out. Anybody else have this problem and what did u do.

If you clean the set screw and coupler with motor spray, then use thread lock, you shouldn't have any issues with the set screw or pin coming out. I haven't had one for the 22 platform come out yet. I've actually found this method to be more bullet proof than the clip method.

Default Exotek Rack

Guys,

I've managed to fit the servo in its forward position with the exotek rack. I used the TLR Servo post and a Ko short servo. I had to dremel the rack a little bit but not much. It fitted well with a durango dex410 servo horn that I've removed the hole to make it shorter and drilled it again. I now use an alu horn and that I shaved a little as well. The bulkhead no longer need modification.

Just wanted to share.
