Also what's the hot setup sheet for clay with medium to high grip? It's for SCVRC track in santa clarita.
I'd start with Maifield's setup - http://www.tlracing.com/ProdInfo/Fil..._Surf_City.pdf

If you are trying to look on your phone, some mobile softwares (IOS for sure) don't have built in PDF readers. Adobe has a free PDF reader app that you'll need to view the details of the setup (which I have and works great).

Ive found once installing adobe on a iphone you still have to open in safari, click the image or scroll, and then click either open in adobe or ibooks.
These smart phones make me feel not so smart sometimes...

Hello,

I recently purchased a used 22 2.0 Buggy, I plan to race it indoors but it only has the rear motor set up. I was planning on purchasing a mid-motor kit but my search online has been unsuccessful for a single kit.

I was wondering if maybe some racers that are familiar with the buggy might help me out. If I order the following parts will I be able to convert my buggy to mid-motor?

TLR231014 - Battery Mounts Mid/Rear: 22/2.0/T/SCT
TLR2968 - Gear Case, Mid Motor: 22

Am I missing any parts? Or is anyone aware of a complete kit?

Thanks,

Thanks,
Rear shock tower, rear camber block, inserts for the forward rear hinge pin holder, body, rear chassis guard/skid, waterfall ( which may come with the battery mounts, not sure) 2nd idle gear with bearings and associated hardware. There is something I missed, I know it.....

Shoot me a PM. I got everything for MM. Tried it and hated it. Will sell everything to convert including a good body for a pretty good price.

What are people doing if their running the Mayfield mid motor setup with the forth hole drilled in the tower? does the shock cap/body rub? Are you putting a spacer on the bottom shock outlet so the shock isn't so angled? thanks

I spaced the damper out on the a-arm with a 2mm spacer and shaved the tower as well. Hope that helps, will post pics if you need them.

+1

I've always run the 2mm spacer, and you'll need to clearance the tower a bit.

It changes dog bone plunge. Adding the spacer takes away rear grip by mechanicaly binding the dog bone up a little more wile the car squats under acceleration. This helps on real high bite tracks. Pretty much everyone runs with no spacer
