yeah, just dial in the brakes you need and no more. I think my trigger throw is 70/30. mean 70% it throttle and 30% is brake. And if you use max brake setting, its pretty easy to over brake with such a small throw. maybe other radios are different.

More in truck, 75% ESC, 75-80% radio. SCT is the most though, 100% ESC, and 65-70% radio usually. It all depends on track conditions/grip/etc. I adjust it quite a bit when running away from OCRC.

Interesting , I have always just used 100 esc and then tune the radio to stop lock up or where I feel comfortable . Might have to play with this some more

Did some testing last night with Mid Motor last night. It's really good but I'm not sure it's for me yet. I need to get lap times and see if it's faster or not.The two things that I changed that made a monster improvement were open cell rear foams and the Rocket-RC-Parts front toe block. It's made of brass so it adds roughly 30 grams right where you want it, down low and close to the axle.

The rest of the setup was Evans RCE setup. The only differences were I used the waterfall brace and the slider where he used no waterfall and bell crank.

I'm going to get some baseline lap times and then switch from 1.6's to 55's and see how they change.

Are these white springs on the right LF ?

The ones on the left are the stock yellow 22 2.0 LF springs

They look like the standard springs. The LF springs dont have a shiny black finish to them, they are more of a flat color.

Agreed.

The white LF spring would also have more coils than the yellow LF spring. It doesn't look like that is the case in your pic. http://losiracing.blogspot.com/2013/...ing-chart.html

I believe the LF spring chart has the amount of coils for each spring as well as its rating...might wanna look into that to confirm...

also, the standard springs have the color code marking at the top and/or bottom of the spring.
the LF springs have one marking 2 or 3 coils down from one end of the spring.
