There might be more to the RM-MM thing than high bite-low bite. I think track design is a factor. Current track designs tend to be a lot of tight 180s between jump sections. Would things be different if tracks had more sweepers and long corners?

Like I said...For it to be equally as competitive on dirt in the hands of the best, that was at Cactus in March. Did you ever see anyone of the top guys show up to a nats or anyone of the other 'big' races with a mid and rear motor car and debate about which one to run before 4 months ago. No.

At that type of race with as much publicity sure. I just think it's worth recognizing the background to get to that point, including the many years I've watched the X-Factory guys at a variety of tracks and events in our area. Where at times they have looked very strong, oddly enough on a fairly low bite loamy track.

I was glad to see more drivers willing to make the switch to MM. I think if enough drivers try this config at enough events and get comfortable with driving it we will find that it comes down purely to driver preference and driving style.

I know quite a few who tried mid-motor cars of many different brands who tried to drive it like a RM. Guys would make continuous changes eventually finding themselves in set-up purgatory. By returning to the box set-up they found the car to be very smooth, fast, and forgiving. But it takes that commitment to try MM and stay there to find that out.

To me they drive more like 4wd.
