Here is what I did. Even running nitro on bigger tracks without the antenna sticking out I haven't had any glitch issues. I think the new 2.4 systems have strong enough signals. Plus the SR3520 has a shorter antenna than most as it is.

jason did you get the 22 2.0? Are you going to give electric a whirl? And yeah, I coil up my antenea inside of shrink tube. never had a glitch. I am running airtronics fhss-3/4 receivers.

here is my receiver in my b4. The receiver is now in my 22, but it still looks like that.

Yes. I'm going to give the electric thing a chance again. Should be out this weekend.

Sweet. Casey has been running his buggy too. Just think, your wife wont think you smell like methane when you get home, and those fumes are bad for the new baby

if I install the turnbuckles with the groove on the left of car, as per instructions:

to shorten them I pull the wrench to the front of the car, correct?

just want to check as I always build all my cars so pulling the wrench to the front shortens the link, less confusion

Groove on the drivers side or left side of the car will equal wrench on top of turnbuckle pulling towards front will shorten the rod.

my antenna on my airtronics reciever is gone, it was frayed and ripped off. still works like a champ, the range is still farther than i can controll the car. it made no difference at all, i actually like it better now i dont have to find places to stash it anymore. Airtronics FTW! lol

Is there a good build video / review available? I searched in youtube and all I can find are the TLR 22 1.0 ones.

Any critical steps/points that I need to look out for? I'll be starting my build tonight.

thanks
