Well I bought the d413 used with some of the upgrades already at a very good price. Got a great deal on the Tekin electronics same way. So I certainly don't have what that all would cost retail invested. But still a pretty penny.

And yes the Turnigy Nano Tech batteries seem to be as good as the ones that cost three times as much. I use them in my 1/8 scale buggies also.

I see these kits are available now. My question is has the parts support improved?

No problem on the tips kid...which..did answer your question BTW.

Never said if you break a tower here or there that must mean you're a terrible driver. I said if it's an "issue". Big difference.

There is nothing wrong with the tower. The issue is the supply.

So I guess that kinda goes against the whole "just rake in the cash from sales" idea...dosn't it?

Well for now yes. I would expect the parts inventories to increase and stay stable going forward.

RAM - do the exotek wing mts/buttons change the longevity of the wing?
I've been lucky to have kept breakage to a minimum, but am killing wings. The Exotek parts look great, but if it accelerates the rate that I go through wings.......

THX!

Well I only used the stock wing mounts for one day, so don't have a good comparison. I do know that the other D413 drivers here kill wings at a pretty good rate with the stock setup.

I switched to the sworks wing early on for their durability. I have been running the same one I started with and after 3 race days and 3 practice days it is as good as new. I am upside down more than I like to admit also. This is that wing.

There again the issue has been availability. I love the buggy, more durable than my 1/8 scale buggies.

BTW I am old, half blind and only had the 1/10 scale for a month. But I have never Cart Wheeled it yet.
Thankyou for your constructive answer. Much appreciated. I am definitly getting one now. Your right., crashes break things, l Will get some spares for it.

Dude...you didn't?

Consider my hand forced.

However, I do feel this is "thee" wheeler you've been searching for. No skirt on this rig!

I ordered one up. Might help glide over jump sides better if I get crossed up on a landing. Could save a shock shaft or two too so I figured why not.
That might actually be nice to have for this car. The front transmission has a weird angle to it that digs in pretty good when you screw up the landing a little.

What did you drill and tap into for the wing? I wanted to do this, but there's not much meat where the post is.

He is using the Exotek wing mount. No drilling required.

Ok the spur is a 72 tooth spur. The pinion is a 48 Pitch and I use a Robinson 23 Tooth 48 Pitch steel pinion from Avid with Tekin 6.5 Turn motor. I think there is a pinion chart on the first page of the thread.
