i was disapointed with the rc shox pistons. too much blow by and movement in the shock body. i was very hesitant to try the vrp pistons but i have to say they work awesome.

i bought the Rc show steering bar and it works great and did take up all the slop that the stock one has. i could not pull the trigger on the piston tho. $20 with shipping didn't make sense to me. so i drilled out the ones that the kit comes with 2x1.6 all around.

Aluminum chassis
For people using the avid aluminum chassis on carpet, how does it perform over the stock carbon chassis?

Looking for a carpet low/low-medium (more low than medium) bite diff setup. Running 15/60/4 now. This car is so difficult to drive compared to the XB4.
My shocks still build up rebound after only 4 ours of training. I soak my Kyosho x-rings in oil 24 ours before installing, and use green slime and all. ZX6 owners say they never try that. These shocks feel really great when fresh built, but they dont seem to last that long. I know i can just let the air out, but i dont wanna do it every second hour. Any of you guys experience the same ?? Really consider changing shocks. If i can find some long shaft eyelets i try the Kyosho's.

Mine have been great so far with x rings and green slime, 2 days of running and no problems.
