I normally run a low wicker on my 2wd and it got me thinking that we don't need the down force in the back of a 4wd as compared to a 2wd so today I ran wing with no wicker. The only hint of a wicker was just the kick up of the wing and I must say it felt really good. I run on a smaller indoor clay track so we aren't fighting any kind of "condition" like outdoor tracks may face.

Finally got to run my 413. Car felt good. No weird handling quirks. Jumps and lands well. But then I wasn't driving hard which is why I'm disappointed.
-side pod of body ripped away very easily. Partially my fault maybe since I over tightened the screws
-car does not like loamy surfaces. Nothing to do with handling but more as being a collector of dirt.
-threaded portion of hingepin broke. During assembly I was wondering if they would be an issue. I never noticed the breakage until I was home picking away dried dirt. The rest of the hingepin was still there.
Really bummed out since I wasn't even pushing the car hard. The car is still in what I call debug mode.
Anyone else have issues with the hingepins?

So if I replace the stock o-rings with the traxxas x-rings and keep the stock plastic shock pieces (like the 2mm plastic shock spacer) the shocks will be smoother and won't leak?
#7463
That is correct. They'll be noticeably smoother and you won't have to bleed them every 2 minutes
