got mine in the mail today. just installed it. no slop whatsoever. will test tomorrow and race saturday. will report back

I'm running one. It does remove the slop caused by the stock bar, which is significant. But even with the bar, the amount of slop up front is pretty ridiculous, IMHO. The plastic cups don't fit tight on the ball studs and there is a bunch of slop in the hubs.

Gonna put a 10.5 Turnigy trackstar in my D413 to get comfortable then upgrade, my FDR calculator says I would need a 30t pinion? Can anybody provide insight? Running on a Tekin RSX a.

I would put a 7.5T in there and call it a day. Why waste money on two motors.
This was my 1st 4w Buggy and the 7.5 felt perfect and still room to turn it up and gear up as well, for a couple of the 1/8 tracks I've gone to.
for your 10.5 it looks like a 29 or 30 should work according to the gearing chart on the first page
