Does anyone run the speedo behind the motor? I was considering this mainly just because of cleanliness of running the wires, so it's not a big deal. But since Ty runs it in front of the motor, I didn't want to throw the setups way off by moving the weight around. Any thoughts on if moving the speedo to that location would have a big impact on how the setups perform?

Yeah, my Son and I both do, mostly for a little better balance and the fact that this car has plenty of steering, at least for our track..I started our cars with the reedy set-up (mostly) but have been dialing out steering since then..

I have 2 buggys, one with the esc in the front and one in the rear. There is not a big difference in the handling. It's really just a matter of preference.

Has anyone found an alternative aluminum servo horn?

It appears the hex on the stock servo saver stripped out while I was setting EPA (yeah I know!!!)

Has anyone tried running a standard servo horn and put the ball stud facing the front of the car?

Drilled out the bushing holes in the rack to accept the bearings. Slipped the bearings in with a .5 mm spacer on top and bolted it back together. Result is just about zero steering slop.
I did a nearly similar thing with ours, used a flanged bearing top/bottom..

Here is what's on mine. I know the other ballstud is doing nothing, but it's an offset for weight, lol.. Not sure if I would recommend this with a shorty servo though..
