Have been following this thread for a while and decided to build one of these beauties.
A very nice kit indeed, had a couple of hick ups along the way, but nothing serious. Here's how it ended up looking. Planning on posting a complete build blog later this month.

I hunted it down and found the last 10' here on RCTech about a year ago. Just gave my good friend a couple of feet for his TC last week. Now only have enough for replacing leads on my 410 if need be.

I just sent out my TC parts for custom ano and have to order more of my neon green wire for it! Hope I can find some as they were all sold out a few months ago.

My buddy's 413 is pretty quiet and very smooth. He runs a Team Powers motor though which are butter smooth so that May have something to do with it. I had a VST Pro in my 410 and the car was always a bit loud abs only grew with time. Turns out it was the end bell securing screws falling out one at a time. I tracked down a number to customer service and they sent me all new screws and an end bell but it was still a bit loud. Bought a REEDY 6.5 and it's now much quieter.

Ha ha ha! Good one!

Just needed a name for my wordpress site. West Coast RC. I am living on the Swedish west coast.

But hey, I tried Cherrys famous inline mod for the B5M and it actually works quite good on Astro turf, so maybe I should change the name of the blog.

I searched WCBC here in the States. It pulled up West Coast Breast Cancer facilities. You have a link for your site ?

Ok so now I definitely need to come up with a better name. :-)

My site is under construction. I'll post a link when it's up and running.

Just getting ready to finish up the build on my D413 and will be running a 6.5t motor. I will be running on a medium size outdoor track that is medium to loose traction. I have seen varying opinions on the pinion size from 19 to 23. If anyone is running on a track like what I run on can you let me know what size you are using.

If it gives you any help, I ran mine with a 7.5 this weekend. On a medium to large indoor track I used a 24t pinion and on a large outdoor track I used a 26t. Could have probably gone up to a 27, but I didn't have one.

i'm running an Orion 6.5 on a track very similar to what you describe and I have used a 22 tooth pinion with good results. One day when it was about 100 degrees the motor got up to 158 or so, but haven't seen higher than that.
