Time to get my electronics ordered. I'm hoping Tekin's testing of the Pro2 4 pole motor in the D413 turns out to be very successful.
I ordered 4/19 and it still says late may. Hopefully tomorrow ill get good news too.

Well I ordered mine on the 3rd of may and it's still says "late may" if that helps you in any way.

Well, I ran the buggy for the whole day today and wow, this thing is great. It is exactly what I expected it to be. It handled really well. I have slowly migrated from Ty's OCRC practice setup to his race setup for the Reedy race there. I'm pretty much on that setup except for diff fluids and of course, no CF arm covers.

But it is the durability that really amazes me. There was a quad that I just couldn't get right. I kept landing short or long and yet the car just kept on going. Torrance, I know your main theme was durability. Well up to this point for me, mission accomplished. I have to say it is so liberating to be able to drive the car like my 2wd buggies and not have to tippy toe around the track.

Thanks

I love this car. I'm not a fan of the shock caps as I have had one pop off twice. Just a heads up for anyone wanting to try another brand of cap...nothing I've tried so far fits. Losi, Associated, Traxxas, Durango, no luck. Gonna try Schumacker and X-ray next. We'll see...

ProLine made Ty's shock caps and I imagine they will be producing them soon. I'd call them up tomorrow morning and ask for a timeline.

I think I remember Torrence saying that proline wasn't going to make them but HB is.

Maybe Kyosho, I saw somewhere in this topic Ty was using their aluminum shock cap for the world.

Regardless of whom makes them first, HB should change that and include it with the kit. Snap on caps is cool in theory but with the speeds these cars are running at, the forces they'll be subject to are too great for them to last long.
