A few pages back someone asked about an aluminum chassis for durability... With this design there are integrated skid plates under the front and rear gearboxes. These are usually the high-wear areas. I put the skid plates on a separate mold from the gearboxes in anticipation that these parts will have to be replaced somewhat often. The front and rear skid plates will be sold in packs of 3 or 4. Together with chassis protector film the chassis lasts a long time.
In any case an aluminum chassis option is not completely out of the question. During testing however, Ty preferred a chassis with a little more flex. An aluminum chassis would just make the chassis assembly too stiff. But that's how it stands for now. Once more time is spent with the car who knows, maybe we'll find a setup where a stiff chassis is preferred.

Might be too soon to be asking, but will there be a driveshaft option part that will stop front wheels from vibrating when turning? Like xray's ecs driveshafts.

It's awesome to be able to read facts from the main engineer himself, well done Mr Deguzman!
That buggy seems to have everything you could ask for... Tempting!
Is that the stock or the PL body?

A few more questions:
What if any parts have you broken on the kit closest to what I'm buying?
What weight diff oils are you using?
Curious if the doffs will like 1/8 buggy weights 3-10K or Durango DESC410 weights 10-60K.
