The plastics in this car are not up to par with XRay, Serpent, Mugen, or Tekno. I have screws that do not tighten and the plastics are to blame.... Not the end of the world, but a small pain nonetheless.

The car is not easy to work on, but I have gotten used to it as I did a rebuild last night...

The best thing about this car is I can put it where I want it to go on the track...

Built the whole kit with a drill. Didn't have any issues with the plastics, still haven't after running it a couple months now. Have a d216 as well and no issue. My 22 4.0 has stripped a few screws in the plastic. Most of the time you just turn them slowly as far as they go and leave it. Usually ok, if not can use a dab of CA glue. Your right, not the end of the world, but not something i have experienced yet with this car.

Raced my car 9 club races. High traction indo clay. It had really good steering and was really twitchy on edge. I got it to settle down by making sure the toe at full slop out puts the tires about straight. Made it way less grabby. Also changed the front diff fluid from 7000 to 10000. Think it was only 13 screws! Not that hard. For a little less low speed turn in. The car has finished every race. I have zero issues with the quality of the car. Only upgrades exotech front only shock caps and steering rack. There parts are super nice.

Cain, I did not rotate the diffs. I think I have it sorted out. I may test it tomorrow on the street. I have a race this Saturday weather permitting.

Don't be too nervous. This thing is a tank. Yesterday I was practicing and messing with my brake setting. I turned them down way too far and went in to a wood wall head on full speed. I saw something fly off. It was my shock, the eyelet broke off. So the shock came loose. It takes lots of hits. This is the first part Ive broken. Running it since August. I fid get a full set of arms, shock tower/braces and a pair of diff/bulk cases for freak accidents

+1. The only parts I have broken are the front shock tower support and a front shock shaft. I have bent the aluminum front shock standoff, but the titanium Exotek units should eliminate that happening again. Otherwise this thing is a beast.

Tower likely discontinued because they'd rather gross more cash and sell basher and toy grade stuffs from what I can tell. Parts are still around and there was transitional pain over the summer and now amain and absolute are suppose to be distributors. Hot bodies has been slow to fill orders from what I've found, hope they do better in the future. Hot bodies is distant from its base, this hurts them and they don't seem to care. It has been brought to their attention.

They could do much better if they reach out and show some stability. The product is pretty good.

Absolute-hobbyz should have everything youíd need. Although Iíve been running mine indoors on carpet for over a year and have only broken the steering rack and one caster block and knuckle.

I traded a guy an SCTE 2.0 that was mint ARTR for a D413 that was supposed to be the same. When it arrived it was pretty much completely clapped out so now Iím having to do a complete rebuild. Iíve found almost everything but canít find shock eyelets for HB alum shock caps.

My mistake, i think you mean the shock cap bushing. I see those out of stock, but they come with the shock caps.
