Aftermarket Parts
Can anyone speak as to why many aftermarket parts for the D413 are out of stock and have not been restocked (i.e. Avid Aluminum chassis)?

It maybe that Hot Bodies needs to release something new to just spark interest again with the latest and greatest that others have going on.
[QUOTE=Cain;14889496]yeah thats how I run it as well so it seals well.
It may be related to the amount of sales being seen with the buggy. Only reason this kind of comes to mind for me is that when I reached out to amain on the new diff center mount, they said they weren't going to carry it do to low sales of upgrade items for the D413.

I would think the Exotek split diff mount would sell well but this buggy is so tough and the quality isn't bad that aftermarket parts accept the longer chassis wouldn't sell well unlike cough the B66.4 needs.

I am noticing that many of the aftermarket parts for the D413 are out of stock in most stores and seem to not be coming back. Here is an example: I have not been able to find the Avid aluminum chassis for the last 8 months, yet no one labels it discontinued though that is what it seems like.Does anyone know why aftermarket parts are so far and few between at this point for the D413?

The split diff is now available on Amains. Hopefully the hard arms will start appearing too. The front arms seem to be bending quite a bit even with CA.

If anyone is interested I'm not going to build my D413 selling a NIP kit with a used low profile servo and a transponder 400 ship

The avid chassis was 1st aftermarket one. Its same length as stock.after running this buggy for 2 years almost every week and still use one avid chassis car and one +4 carbon car id say chassis to buy right now would be exotek 2017.its on my bucket list.

what low profile servos are you guys liking in the buggy? May move some of my more 1/8 oriented stuff of the current cars over to the the 1/8 buggies I got coming, so figure going low profile on the D413s.

Exotek D413 parts are still in full production and the chassis actually had to be reordered as they have been doing very well thankfully.
Titanium quick change shock posts are coming up next along with a slew of D216 parts

I just ran my for the first time last night in the 13.5 class. I really like the buggy. Had issues with traction rolling but I was trying to drive it like my B6. And running two classes was NOT fun. Zero time to work on either car. But 4wd is a whole different world.
