Anybody try the Exotek center diff cap? Just installed and noticed there's no play almost like the bearings are binding up. Just got the buggy and never noticed if it did this with the stock cap/spur gear. Doesn't spin freely.

How much and where front or rear did you guys find best using the aluminum avid chassis?

Just pulled the trigger on this car is will be my first wheeler. Coming from 1/8 and the info in here it should be a breeze to assemble.
Already ordered the exotech spur, and Ackerman arm. And a few other goodies should be here soon.
Anyone else in here running at Bumps n jumps pm me!!

Have you tried putting the stock one back on? I don't see how it could possibly be the Exotek part, there's only one way it can go on. Has to be something else

I've ran 300k on indoor astroturf. It really shifts the power bias towards the rear, almost felt like a 2wd. In my case it was a bit much and I went back to 100k.

I use 500k for a carpet tight track and i love it. The power is there where you need. front and rear. Its a different car. I will test also more than 500k in future.

Probably. Last Friday was the first time out with it. It's pretty good but I'm going to do some test and tune Wed and try some stuff.
