Seems that most people that do a lot of durability testing have this issue. I'm still building my D413 and I'm going to grind a small flat spot on the sway bar so the set screw locks into the bar. Should help keep everything in place. That said, I don't really crash so I'm probably not a good person to test if my fix will work.

How would you pop an aluminum ball cup onto a metal ball stud?

Just you and the other guy Make sure that the sway bar is 100% free. It should fall freely under its own weight with the ends not attached. You're car will handle a lot better as well.
If the set screw has stripped you can run a 4-40 screw (little bigger dia) right in the same hole. It works just fine.

I hit the swaybars with the Dremel and put a small flat on them for the screw to bite on.
Also after threading the screws in and stripping one hole I removed them, wicked a drop of thin CA in and let it cure up. Then reinstall the screws and they are a nice tight fit.

Do this with cars with droop screws in the arms too and they won't adjust them selves.

I replaced the set screws in the sway bar ends with 2mm longer ones... they don't strip out so easy. Easy way to do it... swap the set screws from the shock towers and the sway bar ends.

I have seen very few people run saddles. This car is really designed for the shorty setup and the saddles is just an option to keep it ROAR legal IMO.

For those of you running 5.5s in this car, what are you gearing it at?

I was thinking of going 21/72 with my new Fantom 5.5, running my RSX at throttle profile 1 with 0 boost, 0 turbo and running max 5 degrees can timing.

Default Loose arms

After 2 months all of the arms are loose on the inner shafts, as if the hole diameter are wearing larger. Whats yours like? Time for new arms?

I have a fan on order, but it won't be here initially. I have a 24 on hand but I need a higher FDR than 24 will offer.

Maybe start there and see how it works for you...

Whats the grip levels at your track?

If it was me I would also try no can timing...with a 5.5 it will help in being smoother. By going to the mildest curve and then adding some back in can timing kinda works against each other... with really just adding heat.

For sure play with Throttle profiles...but don't forget to also play around with throttle min and current limiter.

The trick is to give that thing the most usable power down low...cause that 5.5 will be a monster on top.

I'd say my track is medium traction. I'm going to run it at 0 timing and throttle profile 1, I'm running my 10.5 at throttle profile 2. I run 0 drag brake with a +5 on push control. Thanks a lot for your help, don't be surprised if I PM you to pick your brain!
