Thanks guys...Now that I look at it. I see how it should be and I will fix that asap. I won't get to test them for a couple weeks. But I will report on how well they hold up.

Thumbs up

Caps made it to Canada, hooray!

Can't wait to mount them. I didn't mind the tops coming off occasionally (on practice days) but sometime the bottom would get ripped off too: snapping the eyelet.

Might consider running the plastic AE shock bushing instead with the HB aluminum caps. Aluminum on aluminum for moving parts never lasts long and it's a lot cheaper replacing the bushing instead of everything when they wear. This way only the plastic bushing wears out instead of the cap and bushing.

The HB aluminum caps come with a plastic bushing that goes between the aluminum mount and the cap. Same design as the D812.

Do you even have one of these cars?

Alright guys, I have a full set of HB aluminum caps that I thought I'd deleted from my BO from Tower but they shipped them to me anyway. Before I go through the return process Monday I thought I'd give them try here first. I'll let them go for $45 shipped via PayPal. PM if interested. First PM that results in payment takes them. Lower 48 only, please.

Is that for two packages of the caps? The packages that cost $16.99 each from Tower?

When I'm cornering and excelrating out of the turn my front inside wheel is coming off the ground. Is it throttle control, sway bar, to much rear traction, ect..I have to ease off throttle, but be nice if I could stay on it..any solutions?

anyone know the difference between the 2 available carbon shock towers? Is it only that the optional one has 4 holes instead of 3?

Man we keep breaking the most random things on this car. Son broke the front top deck yesterday and he can't even think of a wreck that was even hard enough to cause it. I'm trying to think what would have caused, apparently the shock tower mount on his car isn't a problem, you would think that would have snapped first?

Dealt with him trolling as an associated fan boy in another thread, hahaha I've been checking this car out as well as the xray still not sure reading both threads it's comical the people you see. How do you guys like this kit seems the most durable, any experience with the aluminum chassis any issues with the kit?
