Have you had the ones with out the guard come off? On my buggy the ones coming off are the fronts, mainly the left .

I originally had guards in the rear only. And non guards up front. The front had never popped off until I put the guards on. I think it is because of the large surface area. So more to grab onto in a crash to pop it off.

Torrence,
Does HB make a silver front spring for this car? I bought my car used and it came with silver fronts. I am 99% sure they are HB springs. But my google-fu cant find anything about the spring rate. I am running on a high bite rutted track and I want to go up in front spring rates. But I need to know where i am. I tried some 3.65 front springs (avid purple), but they were way too soft. I am debating the HB red or AE 4.0lbs front springs.

All HB 1/10 springs are Black with a small line of color on the end for reference.

Yeah car sold fast. I hope the guy that bought it has more fun with it then i did. Like i said its a fast car and its tough but there is nothing more annoying to me then having to pull diffs out to tune for traction. If i had the coin to buy a few spare front and rear diffs i would have kept it.

yes, the paint and color are the exact same as my other HB springs. Maybe they are suppose to be gold, but they look like metallic silver to me

Get a 22-4 if you want ball diffs. I thought about getting one, but they are always breaking at the track. The look like they drive nice. But I just wanna drive the car hard and not worry about pipes.

i have the stock springs and you could definitely not mistake them for silver. maybe the ones you have are losi silver which would be about two steps softer than the stock gold HB springs.

edit: now that i look at them in lower light, i guess i could see maybe how they might look silver. the give away though is that two of the coils have paint. losi only has paint on the top coil. here is HB gold:
