Hi!
All new to this car. Have not received it yet. Got it in a trade for my B5m. Will need a new body. What options do I have? Proline Type-r and stock body. Anything else that fits?

This thread probably holds an answer to this but I haven't got the patients.

Use the type R. The other one is hard to get a nice paintjob on because of the 3 piece design and nobody wants to do it.

QUOTE=trick25;13546378]for those are are replacing the front hinge pin with shock shaft. which ones are you using? is is there a better option than stock. better material or at least no little neck to break on the threads.

just broke my kit on maden voyage after a couple packs when i tangled with a 1/8 scale. not blaming the car. just curious if there is a better option.[/QUOTE]

I'm using the associated gold shock shaft it's a bit longer and all u need is a C clip and washer with a locking but works great

Has anyone ran back to back tests with esc behind and in front of motor? I can't decide which way to mount mine.

Mine actually broke right away after one pack. No big wrecks or anything like, it just snapped right at the tread part. I don't know the part number for the shock shaft I used I just compared it at the hobby shop.

Hey Nick, I have 2 buggies, 1 setup with the esc up front and one setup in the back and both have the same setup. It's a cleaner setup with it up front but the handling characteristics are almost identical.

another fantastic night with this car. I really want to hate this car because of it poor quality, but even clapped out and with Rubbermaid twisty arms, it drives like a beast. I aired it out over the triple and ended up bouncing the car for 20 feet. Hell it was even bouncing up hill. Nothing broke. I didnt have the shock caps pop off in practice and once at the end of the race. I landed the triple and it just popped off. Mainly having issues with the rear. This car carries so much corner speed. I am loving the 3 diffs in this car. It just hugs the pipe and rips out of the corners. We are running high bite with clay slicks.

so what are the front rims of choice... I need to determine what I'm going to do for EVO style fronts if I decide to get this car next month when it's finally available

I am running evo fronts. 12mm hex version. I really like the evo wheels for higher bite tracks. Less sidewall folding.
