I bought the Proline R body, cause I wasn't a fan of the 3pc body and tiny screws for it.
I really like the looks and style of the 3pc, but wish it would have been 1pc body.

You have to position the motor so that the tabs are like pictured:
Thank you for posting a picture of a proper solder job. LOL

My eyes hurt so often when people post pics of their cars.

Man I do like the Tekin solder posts. So easy to work on. Wish they had the performance of the orions.

Have you driven a vehicle with the RSX? Curious where you feel it falls short of the Orion?

That's the part I like the least on Tekins. I think it would be nice to change those posts to feature plugs that you solder to your leads that slide onto the posts until they SNAP securely.
Well, that and I wish they supported iOS.

no, I tried the rs gen2. I was told the rsx had the same feel. I have run a LOT of brands. But the orions braking and smooth throttle are at the top. I loved everything about the gen2 stuff, but the binary braking and throttle, was a deal killer. I worked with Randy to try an make the gen2 smooth, but it just never got the feel I wanted. Anyway, I will figure out how to make the body go on better.

I got that body myself, have yet to cut it out. I was afraid like you the three pieces and the tiny screws would give way. I also ran a bead of shoe goo along the where the pieces join.

Been going strong on that body a while now without issues, but sooner or later it will need to be replaced and when it does I will give that Proline body a shot.

Has anyone broken the front hinges, I raced my buggy last night and both of them broke right at the end of the threads. Not expecting braking such part I end up putting team associated shock shaft for replacement, they work great but just concern I did something wrong building it and I'm afraid to replacing them and having the same problem.

Still waiting for someone to sell me one of these buggies. I have looked everywhere to no avail. I know someone has one of these pristine machines waiting for a new owner LOL.
