I just built a D8T and love the value and quality of Hotbodies RC's. If this little guy is priced right Im pretty sure I'll be adding another car to my collection!

Looks like it has all electronics besides the servo on one side and a shorty pack on the other.

Looks a little funky in a good way,, glad they are trying something different, and by the kid's lap times looks like they got it right. I would be a little concerned of popping off a shock though with those shock caps. TLR must be peeing their pants.

Looks cool, I think roar rules specify state a saddlepack must be used for 4wd buggy. I could be clearly wrong, I have never ran the class so I dont pay much attention to the rules for it.

I thought so as well. I know that for at least 1 race Tebo had the ZX6 in a similar configuration (or so it appeared). He is running saddles now.

I don't know of a way to fit a full sized pack on 1 side of the car and still have room for even a short servo.

It looks like a good car is stinking fast.

While I dont know the roar rules at all, I would highly doubt HB would be using a layout that didn't fit into the rules so I doubt roar dictates saddles must be used. The old XXX used stick packs, some of old the Kyosho stuff used stick packs as well.
