I am not Torrence, but officially Ty is probably using the PL Trifecta. However, I also saw a LMR sticker on his car in one of the videos, so there's a chance he may have tried and approved of the ultra-durable LMR Electra and Avior wings, which I personally like very much. I already have an Electra in my box for the D413.

Needs some fine tuning

Not sure if you were trying to be funny or if you really think that's what Deguzman Would really have you build...

You've got your links in all the wrong places.

Without looking too hard, I'd guess you put the front steering links in the rear, the read camber links in the front spot, and the, and your front camber links in where the steering links need to be.

Box stock build... should be almost 0° camber up front with (I didn't measure) what looks to be about 1.5° toe out.

Here is my "by the book build"...

Edit:......
I just thought about it, and looked at your pic a little closer.

You may not have them all in the wrong places.

The manual shows the links with the rod ends having a little exposed thread left... that's not acurate.

Lay the links ON the book... the illustrations are 1:1.... they even are so detailed as to tell you the position the rod ends should be. Just measure end to end... don't look at the threaded part on the picture.

Ps. @ petrock... you may have to shorten your wires, or clock that motor over to get the wires clear of the body.

There is a lot of open space on the chassis for stuff, but there isn't much room for height above the chassis' top plate and the body.

at the nats he used a PL wing. for the worlds and thereafter he used the stock wing because the PL wing had a slight clearance issue when run in the low position. I think their new wing takes care of that though.

the kit wing was inadvertently made from the same thickness lexan as the body. it was supposed to be slightly thicker. beginning with the 3rd batch it'll be switched to the thicker lexan.

Ty, Lee Martin, and Marc Rheinard are pretty good friends so they display each other's decals: LMR, MR33, and now 110%Racing.

Speedychris22~

I didn't put any on the pair that didn't have the orange hex brace between them.

I used the normal amout on those that I do with most screws.

I use the Permatex gel threadlocker. It's the easiest way I've found to not over-do it, and to do it with the most consistency.
http://www.permatex.com/products-2/p...lue-gel-detail

I just dip the screw threads in about 2mm and then wipe the screw across the tip of the bottle to wipe away any excess.

On a side note~
the gel takes a little longer to set-up than the liquids do... which you can look at as either a good thing, or a bad thing.
Some guys want the screw to be in and set once they are done... others think it's nice because if you make a mistake in a build, you don't have to reapply if you back the screw out just a few minutes later.

I didn't use any threadlocker anywhere.

Default OCRC Setup

My initial setup for OCRC. Car runs pretty good. Has tons of steering. Might run a light sway bar in the front to combat that. Other then that the car has been solid. Looks good around the track. At least thats what people tell me. lol

Has anyone tried a Team Orion VST2 540 4-pole in this buggy? I'll go for my trusty Vampire Racing 7.5 turn first, but if heat should prove to be an issue on our new high-bite astro turf, this might be an option...

Will raising the front hinge pin up add steering to corner entry? or will lowering the front hinge pin do that?

We @ Tekin will be trying our Pro 2 4-Pole line of motors in the D413 here in the next week or so.
