if theres another version out there for 120 bucks...is it really a deal ?

btw bluetooth at a crowded track looses range really quick....at home my little bluetooth speaker has a range of about 10m (30feet)...at the track...about 30cm /12"...but i do like the idea of bluetooth programming even if i do have to hold the phone super close to the car
The aluminum TS120 just came out I have the first in US. I am very familiar with the plastic case model. There is a wifi module coming soon which will greatly increase range

Where is the all metal available for purchase in the us? Bluetooth to my iPhone sounds great. I assume normal pairing and an app download is all that is required?

Bluetooth and 2.4ghz radio systems don't play so well together. Hopefully it can be turned off when you are actually driving the car.

As long as it requires pairing and is low power Bluetooth, there is very little chance it will interfere with the rx, and it wouldn't get reprogrammed due to the pairing requirement.

The ESC and the Bluetooth module work flawlessly I have been running the system for months with the toro ts120 plastic case . I am able to put the module in the car during practice and program the ESC from the driver stand when I want to make changes. These escs can be picked up at discountrcstore.com for $99

Is what I am thinking right, that this should be filtering into US hands next week?

My pre-order is at a LHS so I do not expect to be the first one to get his. But I have this bag at home with tires / ESC / Motor / Receiver and a servo in it.

I have a feeling that if I am lucky I will have a week or two with it before my track turns into access road for the highway expansion.

well tower has the cars now, and is re-packaging the stuff, BUT Team drivers and stores have been able to pre-order for a long time(months), and orders go out in the order received...also people could preorder the buggies for a bout two weeks before it was visible on towers website....so there might be a lot in line to get this buggy even though you preordered the second it was visible online

i think it might actually be available in LHS first....we will see...

I would say very little chance you will notice, but it is RF and anything else on the same spectrum (2.4ghz) will cause some interference and take duty cycles away from its neighbors. There is a very good chance the ESC is smart enough to turn the Bluetooth way down or off once the car is moving.

Wait. Are you saying you know for a fact that Tower already has the cars or are you saying IF Tower had the car, it would still take a while for someone to potentially get it.

The markings on the shock shafts are to use as measurements for droop.
