Default Tamiya Silver Can gear ratio/gearing

Google is not helping in this matter.Searches are coming empty.
A few months back I was given some brushed motors and esc's.The Trinity Midnight 2 and a Z-Zone 19T were easy to gear but the 540J and the silver can are very uncommon in 2wd buggies and I don't know at what ratio they should perform.Right now I'm at 9.90 and have 3feet of wheelspin and tops out around 10feet.Ordered some pinions(23 to 25)...This buggy is my Stock racer,a Ansmann X2(or Team C TC02).
Any recommendations on gearing?

those tamiya silvercanmotors werent made for anything than slow putting around in their kits. if you do race it gear it really high so you do get some performance before it dies... whice it will.

Thank you bro,I will try a 25 and report back. When it dies the Johnson will take it's place and then maybe I'll run the Midnight again,it's a very punchy motor.

Reporting back, with a 8.32 FDR still has wheelspin for like 1foot and tops out around 13feet,heat is too much in 3 minutes so I think around 9.0 - 9.5 FDR is good for the mabuchi.Awkward powerband thanks to 0 degrees brushes.Long runtime though.
