Default SC10 Diff Gear etc.

I am rebuilding an SC10 for my son! It will have a 13.5 Tekin gen2 motor in it, and the stock ESC. For now I will be leaving the Gear Diff in. Any recommendations on cleaning and rebuilding the diff! Oil/grease? Any advice would be great! I race buggies, and I want my son to enjoy it! Thanks for all advice, and any other advice other than getting laps on the truck would be great! How about gearing for the 13.5t motor? Thanks again!

Default Track size/type!

Medium-small track size with medium to high bite clay! It gets watered throughout the night! Planning on running J-concept 3D's, which seem to be what guys are using......Or Barcodes ofcourse!

I used to run the gear diff in my sc10 but I went to ball, however I still run the gear diff in my t4 and I use regular Lucas grease!!

Personally I run the ball diff in mine, but I have 2 friends that both run gear diffs. We run high bite clay indoor and one is running 5000 wt in his gear diff and my other friend is running 10K. Both seem equally happy and I've driven the truck with the 5K and it felt really good. Being a tighter smaller track that you're running, try Associated 5K first. If you feel it's not enough, then try 10K. But I think you'll probably be happy with 5K on that track. Good luck, unfortunately I can't help you with your gearing as I'm running an 8.5.
