I think a big story in 4wd is that Amezcua and Steenari were driving the XX4, not the XXX4, and Hodapp was running the X-5, the single belt conversion for the XX4. 3 of the top 5 running the XX4 platform.

I think another is the fact that there is more parity in the 4wd class with 5 different chassis manufacturers in the top 10

part of it may be due to the fact that 4wd is more popular with the Euros then 2wd is.

Yes, a very big story. Also that there is a new Yokomo prototype out there, and Kyosho is trying to make a new name for themselves in electric off-road (both classes!)

It should be a VERY interesting worlds this year. 2wd? ehhh.

These results just make me further see how talent Ryan C. really is. I didnt know that Hara was so versatile though. But when all is said and done, MASAMI IS THE MAN!
