Default new spur gear

i just got an old nitro sport off ebay and it needs a spur gear. what size should i get? it has the trx .15 motor. im looking for more take off speed than top end

A smaller spur than what you already have will give you more top end...

Smaller spur or larger pinion will give more speed. The opposite is true for torque.
