Stillborn dead. Doomed before it started.

Only newbs running it in my area. They should have bought a 2wd SCT truck, it's allready an established class with decent competition. Maybe some racer types like haveing only 3 cars in a class? I think it's boring.

Starting all over from scratch with a new class every 3 years ain't exactly good for racing. But whatever, I don't care. We just toss them in with 2wd SCT.

Its a pretty big class here in MN. Anywhere from the fast pro guys to the newbs.

It really does seem to be dependent on area. It's kind of sad that the class hasn't caught on as much, as I think these buggies look great and I'm sure they handle better than their SCT counterparts. But there really are too many classes these days, and the fact that 2 of the big manufacturers discontinued their offerings doesn't bode well for the class growing further.

Zip zero here unless its a Jconcepts race. Sell them and get a ST or SCT...

Yeah, was pretty surprised how big the class actually was when I attended the motodome race this year. The rules for it also make it easy entry on a budget from what I could tell.

To me at least, I like the concept of the class, looks, etc. I just wished they offered it in a kit, and with the race hopups similar to the sct stablemate.

The class was growing in my area and then it just went away. They were fun to drive and it was a spec class so all buggies were the same.

Class is growing here in Boise, Idaho. When we are low on SCB class, they combine with sct and we just dominate the race. They just handle better without all that body roll and parachute affect. I hope the class keeps going strong.

Yes. Stock RTR tires or Jcon subcultures, 10.5 BL max in blinky mode.

a little late, but i'll add my .2 cents. i think there are 2 main reasons this class hasn't taken off. the first being it's still and open wheel buggy and although it is faster than a sct it can't hold a candle to other 2wd buggies.
i love the realism of these scb but that's all they have going for them over the 2wd buggies.
the other thing is the fact it's just a sct with a smaller body and with that you lose the ability to rub fenders.
it wouldn't hurt my feelings if these things took over the buggy class like sc took out st but i don't see it happening.
