Does ROAR actually tech the 2s batteries? I mean as far as exact dimensions? The whole height measurement has me a little concerned. Most 2s lipos, at least the ones I have are about 25mm thick brand new. Any sort of small puff, which isn't uncommon, would put it over the 25.1mm max thickness. Thanks for any input!

Last year at Supers Nats, they only checked the battery approval list and total voltage before each run. But that doesn't mean they may or may not check battery dimensions this year.

Those dimensions are measured when approved. Not so much at the events for the reasons you listed. If the seal is broken on the battery or extremely puffed, they are going to have an issue with it.

And probably to answer the next question on mains.

Buggy- 10 minutes
Truggy- 8 minutes

Qualifers will be the same length as the mains.

Shucks...no love for the 4x4 SCT crowd. We pay the same $85 entry fee as the ebuggies, and only get slightly more than half the track time they do.

Please forgive my whining...I still love LCRC.

I'm fine with 6minutes, if I wanted run time I'd just practice at my local track, I'm going to race against some fast guys. Just curious so I could plan which battery since the ones I normally use aren't roar legal, looking forward to this race I've heard good things about the track.

Did have a question... Alot of the local drivers are telling me I'm only gonna get like 2 rounds of practice on Thursday. Is that true. Still up in the air on making it Wed Afternoon/Night!
