Default Gearing questions

I just upgraded my brushed 2wd slash to the castle creations SCT esc/ 3800 motor combo. Im enjoying the increased speed and power but I want to get a little bit more out of the system. I usually just bash on the pavement and drive on a dirt track, what would be optimal gearing for this? Preferably something that will up my existing speed compared to the stock brushed gearing for the slash. Thanks for looking.

It's brushless for bashing I'd just go up the two on the pinion and see what it feels like. You're not tuning it for a track so you're not gonna feel the "lack of torque" out of that tight 180 turn. Plus if you're bashing pretty much any jump you hit will be at a higher speep so you won't need that bottom end to make it. And castles are almost bullet proof so the slightly if any higher temps shouldn't be an issue.
