Default looking

Been looking for the right E-buggy for me. have had mugen, AE8.2, AE8.2/Tekno and a EB48 and so far the AE8.2 seems to fit the best. Was thinking about trying the XB9E, how dose it compare to the others I have tried?

Yeah, but to be fair, you have only been racing a short time and have improved a lot and have a crap load of practice on the track...... So its no surprise that you have run your fastest lap with you most current car.

And that track is for kids with their training wheels on! Lol

Doubtful, I am not due for a bearing change and don't want to spend all Saturday cleaning my cars.

My opinion is completely object an I think the car drives great, much much better than the eb48.....

How did you know?

It's on the way right now. After I'm done testing the RC8.2e, the XB9e will get a work out. I'll keep the one I like better.

I have just finished the new original XB9E body from Xray.
It has more space for battery and some more space for ESC and airflow.

Well, I got my XB9e the other day. Wow, what well made buggy. Great components. I hope I wont need a lot of spares, because those prices are outrageous. $40 for a pair of LW out drives? $100 for a pair of alum caster blocks?? LOL!!!

I'll have this thing ready for the track next week.

I have driven all the cars you have listed. My most recent car was mugen mbx6 eco. Great car, but could not pull of consistent laps times with it. I'd reel off good laps, make one error and pay for it. I played with the setup for months, then finally settled with something close to stock setup.

The Xray is a very high quality kit. An Xray team driver is my buddy. I built my kit and set mine up very close to his recommendations. Have not made one change to the car yet. The car is solid, shocks are one of the best(if not the best) 1:8 buggy shocks, has massive amounts of steering, durable, and best of all is it is very consistent. You are in Lakeland, have you been to B&B in Hudson? I was there practicing with my buddy who also owns an XB9e. He came around the front straight to hit the big double. Guess he didn't square up and he the the 4x4 post on pit lane A-arm first. Could not believe it but the car was undamaged!

I usually race at B&B in hudson, Lake Park and on occasion Newred. If you every make it out, you can try out my XB9e.

You don't need any of those parts, run all plastic and get your spares off eBay. Replace pins in driveshafts as needed and out drives will be fine for a very long time, I have seen some last over 2 seasons. I've never broken an arm in 4 yrs.
