Thanks JatoFever, I race on the same type of track. I'm working on getting new shoes. I was also told to use some golfer's lead tape to put in the rear. I've kept the batteries in the rear. Thanks

Heck, the 2.5, EZStart and the plastic pipe are the first three things i'd ditch.

a lotta guys are running the 2.5 and love it, but then again some guys like boys too, lol..
seriously, i just detest the 2.5, plus, if I DID get a Jato, it'd get strapped with either a race-legal .12 or an outlaw .15-18 that made more power than the TRX 2.5.
i'd ditch the electronics too, and sell all that off. after that, i'd wind up with about a $250 Jato roller

Default Jatofever.....

Jatofever...I see how were gonna be now...Get some new wheels for the Jato and a new body and you dont even bother sending your boy a picture of it ......
LOL...
Dude those black wheels look sweet on that thing, the red nuts really set them off too. So what's the new paint scheme gonna be on the new body? Make it pretty so I can run over it with the Revo and scratch it all up for you.
Hey I dropped the OS.18TM in the Rev the other night...Gonna try to finish breaking it in this afternoon if this stupid rain will hold off for a little while. Thing seems pretty quick right now with the OS and it's ALOT more consistant in the temp. department than the 2.5r was.

Just so everyone knows, Jatofever's Jato is a sick ride on a big blacktop parking lot...With the stock "read, slick-wore out" tires the thing is a drifting machine..I think it stays sideways more than it does going in a straight line.

ha ha whats up J. You have to catch it before you can run over it . btw that is the paint scheme Im gonna add some carbon fiber decal trim to it but its staying clear. I like it. Glad to here the os fit right in. That thing should have plenty of power now.

I need justifications for an opinion?
c'mon, seriously man.
other than the fact that the engine is short-lived, finicky, and likes to overheat like a baked potato, there's NOTHING wrong with it.
and ALL traxxas factory electronics suck.
btw, hey tri-er...jato, i JUST saw yer new post on the *other* forum, LOL.
