Who has a JATO?

Who has a JOTA? I meant JATO.
I've been racing onroad for a while now and have yet to race on dirt. I want to get started on off road but don't know what to get. I'm eyeing on the JOTA. Anyone have one and care to share his/her experience?

They made it look more like an 1/8 scale. I'd like to see the weight comparisons to it and a GT and or Losi. I didn't think the shocks looked all that great on it, but like I said you can't tell from pics. I am interested in seeing it run. And I'm sure I will as there seems to be quite a bit of interest in this truck.

Led sled b/c it looks heavy. Two speed and big motor may be good for bashing, but you'd have to change both if you wanted to race at any real organized races. The two speed anyhow, plenty would probably be ok with the motor. Club racing anyhow.

Well for one thing most tracks aren't even long enough to need it. These trucks haul a$$ fast enough with the gear combos currently available. Nothing wrong with newb questions. And hope you don't think I'm saying it's not a good truck. That will be determined when it's out and people start running it. But really, if traxxas was shooting for a race truck, they should built it so it could be raced outta the box.

if the demand is there they will make something more race oriented. But, if you need to switch out the motor and do the conversion to single speed, that shouldn't be too much of an issue and you can always sell the motor, especially if you take it out when its brand new.
One other thing, the Jato rims, aren't they bigger than standard rims, would those be legal? If you get serious about racing it, good to know of all potential legal racing issues up front.
Looks to be an interesting vehicle and could boost popularity in 2wd stadium truck racing.
