Default Who uses SPC batteries? Thinking about trying some...

I did a search and couldn't find any specific thread on them. Any of you running them with good luck? I am thinking of trying their 8200 50C packs.

Not bad prices on those batteries. I would consider trying them but I use bullet connectors on my terminals.

I bought a pair of the 6500 50c lipos and they work very well for me in a hw sct pro/4000kv setup. I get more than enough time on them and haven't hit lvc yet when I'm driving. The cells are balanced nicely and as long as you don't need that roar approved sticker on it go for it.

You might want to try Stan's batteries then.

Do you have your lvc at 3.2? If so have you timed how long at race pace you get before the battery hits lvc?

Lvc is at 3.4 and our average qual is 5 min with the main 7 minutes. Can't tell you how many mah I use off the top of my head but after letting the battery cool (I never recharge directly after using a lipo) the battery reads usually a bit over 3.9 volts each.

Thanks for the info. I'm thinking of trying two of their 8200 packs for long mains in 1/8 e buggy and truggy.

I've heard the 7200 are the better option for that because of the added weight of 8200

The 8200 appears to be a softcase lipo. Make sure its ok at your track. Id personally go with SMC.

Awesome, thanks! I am also checking out the Value Hobby batteries too. Are there any issues with these batteries?

There good lipos good punch lots of cycles in them .

There worth it especially the price never any issues with them. Other than the balance wire on the hardness is a little to short .

The only negative things ever said was about his warranty or lack thereof on his escs.

You only hear good results about his batteries.
