Default JQ Products "THE eCar" 1/8 EP Buggy Thread

Just came accross this on Amain Hobbies.

This is JQ Products "THE eCar" 1/8 Electric Buggy Kit. After declaring "We will never make an electric 1:8th. They are stupid", JQProducts has taken their first step into the world of electric offroad. Heavily influenced by the successful Yellow Edition Nitro 1/8 Buggy, THE eCar features a typical e-Buggy chassis layout. This weight distribution and added weight of the 4S LiPo batteries in THE eCar have proven to deliver improved handling qualities compared to it's nitro brother.

More information will be added to this product page once details are made available.

Specifications:
Vehicle: 1/8 Electric 4WD Buggy
Width: 307mm
Wheelbase: 324-328mm
Weight: 3500g
Battery Configuration: 2x2S or 4S
Internal Gear Ratio: 3.3:1

Default The ecar used

Hey fellas been looking into a 2wd 1/10 buggy latley only because most of the tracks around me run them more than 1/8 4wd, which is what I initially wanted. But I stumbled across a used ecar that looks brand new and said to have only a few hours on it for a deal, I think. New to buggy tho and haven't heard much of this kit or JQ so curious what's a good price for a near new built kit it actually comes with a few extras that should put it at a great price but just wanted to see what you all thought a good buy was before I pick it up. If I should be in a different thread for this please let me know I'm new to the forum and don't want to upset anyone.
