ScottKelly 911,

Thanks a ton for all the honest opinions and advices, actually after looking at different models on the net last night i was leaning to the slash, but after reading your(and others') comments, i'll seriously look at the losi, and it seems it'll suit me better, hehe. Cuz i think eventually i'll be racing it too. Will check the LHS that carry losi products.

And also thanks a lot to everyone chiming in with kind advices, please keep them coming guys.

Go with either SCTE 2.0 or the Tekno SCT410. Only 2 worth considering if you're looking for the best, in my opinion.

Both are fully capable of winning and both are top notch quality. Each has it's pro's and cons.

I personally own the SCTE 2.0, and it has been the fastest SCT that I've driven. It's actually become one of my favorite vehicles to drive.

Again though, consider those 2, and go from there. Both are more than capable of winning indoor, and outdoor.

Hi Tyler, thanks a lot for another helpful advice. so i think the losi scte is the way to go, hehe, cuz i don't think we have LHS that carries tekno products here. It's time to check everything and make a complete list to see if budget "approves", lol.

I don't like the SCTE2.0. Screws are a bit soft and they are fully imperial. I would have expected them to change to metric with the 2.0. I guess there are too many legacy parts from older chassis. I also wish they had a radio box and an ESC plate, but I guess that's just added weight.

That being said, I race a scte2.0. It drives fairly well and it's quick...

If it's so great, why do you run the rtr prolite instead?

Thats what im running. Its very light +/-5.3lb. Ball cups are the weak point on the truck. Diffs are kinda small.
