Default CNC Machined AE Big Bore Shock Bushings By FactoryOne

We have been getting great feedback from customers who have ordered our kits. Some have talked about it on several threads. This is the Official place to ask questions at talk to people who have used our product.

Here is the idea behind our kits. (V1/V2 version shock kits still available)

FactoryOne AE Big Bore Ultra Bushing Shock Kits Available Now!

We have made these CNC machined bushings to a much higher quality spec then the stock production molded bushing and spacer. By having the hat bushings and center bushing support the shock shaft through its stroke you get less side deflection. Keep in mind the stock AE parts use the center plastic part only as a spacer for the orings. Because of the tighter tolerances the shock shaft does not go into bind under load. This makes the car lap to lap more consistent. Next we use a higher grade material than the stock nylon. We use PTFE/Teflon to prevent stiction and provides for an Ultra smooth stroke of the shock shaft.

Best way I can relate this is with the Motocross world. If you compare a production bikes forks to factory bikes forks there is a huge difference in performance. The factory Mx suspension parts are made to a much higher spec than production MX bikes. They use the best materials made to tighter tolerances. Production bikes use mass produced parts made to meet a balance of good enough vs cost of production. This is what we have done with the Ultra Bushings. Ours are CNC machined out of a very high grade material to achieve the best possible performance. AE molds all the parts on one tree out of nylon to meet the demands of mass production

I have had these in all of my AE shocks since they came out (V2's and big bores) and would not use any different at this point. They make the car so much more consistent! With the combination between the tapered pistons and the Factory One bushings my cars feel planted!!!!!

I had them in my B4 and did a back to back test of two sets of shocks and the difference is there in a big way. I have them in my T4 and couldn't ask for more. I just ordered a big bore set today to see if they will work in my Atomik V2MR buggy. I am already using John's o-rings in the shocks and I hope I can use the bushings as well.

Anything that makes shocks work smother and more reliable is always a welcome thing. And these really do just that. Not to mention the other products that is offered as well.

The brush set is a welcome pit tool. Soft brush to rub in traction compound and the steel brush to just knock off dirt. Also the chassis protectors are great as well. Not to mention a cool factor. Be on the look out for new stuff in the future...

Yep.. Brushes work great. Handles are very strong! The steel brush is Stainless Steel so no rusting! The stainless brush has fine bristles as not to damage the tire. It also helps to "scuff" or "de-glaze" a tire thats run on a dry slick blue groove track.
