xerun 120a with tenshock sc411 4600Kv thoughts losi scte
Ok so I have two losi scte trucks. One with mmp and 3800Kv motor, geared with a 14t pinion. And another with the xerun 120a with a tenshock sc411 4600Kv motor also geared with a 14t pinion. I don't race I just do speed runs up and down the street. My problem is does the tenshock really eat lipos. Because the one with the tenshock and ezrun hits lipos cut off way before the other. Both are really fast but Im thinking I should gear down to a 12t pinion for the tenshock. Both can puff the lipos but that tenshock does it harder and that's on 3s for both. I'd like to think that the xerun combo is better than the mmp with 3800.

Yea with the Tenshock motors you need at least a 50c to 60c or higher 2s. Turn the timing off also on the 4600kv and punch control.

Your right my 3s lipos are old 35c. I still feel the need to gear down. The xerun is still on the stock settings. I did research before I got that combo, and that motor is known to eat lipos. I guess I had to see for myself. Time to spend that cheddar.

I run the hw xerun sct pro 120 and xerun 4700kv on 13t pinion in my scte 2.0, 6500mah 50c 2s and 5000mah 25c 2s get me in the 13-25min. range depending on the driving

Yea I have Orion 90c 2s, but that ain't fast enough. Im not racing or running hard. I just run in the street and watch temps carefully. The tenshock is amazing but it's eating lipos faster. It's not even that hot after running. Im looking at my 3800 like it may be more versatile.

If I gear down and get equal runtime between the two trucks, Im happy. I know eventually I will need to upgrade my 3s lipos. Im barely tickling that tenshock with my 4200 35c lipos.

Im an idiot. My 2s Orion 90c 5000 had a 11 minute runtime. I need more good lipos.
